A Milestone Forged Together
On January 12th, 2026, we reached a milestone we are incredibly proud of: A three‑digit active player base.
That number is not just a statistic. It represents trust, patience, belief, and a shared willingness to build something meaningful together.
This moment follows an intense and for some of us an exhausting two‑month period, running from November 12th to January 12th, where we learned more than we could have hoped for and achieved even more. We've tested systems, stress‑tested assumptions, and throughout this period the community itself began shaping into something we’ve all become incredibly proud of.
Over the past weeks, more than 50 bugs have been closed, many of them directly improving quality of life. These were not abstract issues, they came directly from players actively exploring the world, pushing boundaries, and taking the time to report what felt off.
To our community, specifically our bug hunters and the players who documented issues clearly and constructively, allowing us to more easily identify and resolve problems; you are co‑creators of this project.
A Clear Line in the Sand
We also want to acknowledge something that hasn’t gone unnoticed: the community’s strong support for our firm stance on multiboxing. While this was not an easy decision, it was an important one for us to take relatively early on, as it was an important one to take. Anarchy Online, and its legacy, was never built around a single‑player experience, and that is not what we want it to become. The heart of Anarchy Online has always been its community.
We believe players matter more than setups, that cooperation, presence, and fairness should define the experience. Seeing the community largely agree and actively support this direction has reinforced our belief that we’re building Project Rubi‑Ka the right way.
The Cost of Building Something Great
Project Rubi‑Ka exists because of people who give more than they are required to.
To our developers and contributors: we see the late nights, the weekends, and the time taken away from family, friends, and personal rest — all in service of a shared vision. This kind of dedication cannot be demanded. It can only be given.
We are deeply thankful.
And while we are not finished, far from it - moments like these matter.
Today, Rubi‑Ka stands re‑imagined with a bright and positive future - shaped by its past, strengthened by its community, and facing forward with confidence.
To everyone who has believed in this project and helped shape it:
This milestone belongs to us all.
